Homemade Volcano

Kids love to make a homemade volcano and they'll want  to do it over and over again.  

Ingredients:

1.    Plasticine

2.    Baking soda

3.    Food colouring (to make it interesting)

4.    Vinegar

Method:

1. Make volcano out of plasticine.

2.    Place 2 teaspoons of baking soda in the bottom of the volcano.

3.    Predict what you think will happen before you add vinegar.

4.    Pour 2 teaspoons vinegar in the volcano.

Answer:

The mixture of the baking soda and vinegar forms a gas that raises up and out of the volcano.

We use baking soda in cooking, such as baking cakes and cookies. The baking soda  makes baked goods rise because the bubbles burst in the heat.

Membuat Simbol-simbol Penting untuk Makmal

Setelah mengecat makmal sekolah. Kami telah membuat simbol-simbol penting untuk makmal sekolah ini yang kami fikirkan sesuai untuk makmal sekolah rendah. Kami telah memilih beberapa simbol untuk dilekatkan pada makmal ini seperti simbol Danger, Do Not Waste Water, Flammable, First Aid dan sebagainya. Kami juga telah membuat Peraturan Makmal Sains untuk makmal sekolah ini. Seterusnya, kami telah melekatkan Kemahiran Proses Sains dan Kemahiran Manipulatif Sains di dinding makmal ini. Sebanyak 5 tema Sains juga dilekatkan di dinding makmal sekolah iaitu Menyiasat Alam Kehidupan, Menyiasat Alam bahan, Menyiasat Bumi dan Alam Semesta, Menyiasat Daya dan Tenaga serta Menyiasat Dunia Teknologi.
